Our Modern inventions have saved us and killed at the same time. Modern technology has increased our material wealth but has had a negative impact on our health.

To what extent do you agree?

The science and technology revolution in the later 20^th century influenced dramatically our societies by its own significant achievements which have been exiting and applying in almost our everyday-activities. It can be seen clearly that contemporary innovations are supporting and allowing our lives more convenient and easier than ever. However, it is also a fact that modern inventions have negative impact on our health at the same time.

First of all, applying new medical innovations is saving our lives from serious diseases and pains. For instance, a great number of efficient pills and new methods in medical treatments used to help us against heart attacks or increase lifetime is the most convincing examples which never could be done in the past. Concurrently, some people use the achievements in chemists to make a chemical warfare which can kills thousands people in a sort period of time and also leave terrible consequences for the next generations.

Secondly, the innovations in research and automatic production have created the number of goods which is much greater than manual process to supply for social demands. For example, applying innovations in agriculture had made both of quality and quantity of farming goods much better and bigger nowadays.  Unfortunately, the quality and quantity are not often come together in a product because businessman seem to focus on benefit rather than fine goods. Therefore, there are some kinds of low quality foods included harmful components are increasing day by day which affect directly on our daily health.

In conclusion, developments and discoveries new things in human race are inevitable. There is a great number of people, myself included, agree with the statement that our innovations are have saved and killed us at the same time.
